Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon & Charitable Giving

Since its founding in 1983, Pamakid Runners has owned and organized the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon. We host over 8,000 runners every year, and the race has expanded to include 5K and 10K events. On race day, Pamakids are present all over the course, welcoming runners to the start line, monitoring the course, handing out water, and cheering for happy finishers.

The Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon annually generates over $100,000 in profits that Pamakids donates to local organizations whose work aligns with our mission of promoting healthy lives. Explore below to learn more about our “Big Three” major donation recipients.
